Tangala House is a large family home on the banks of the Zambezi River, upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world.

This African safari villa is stylishly built and furnished with large glass windows all round, and looks across the river onto the Zambezi National Park.

For the wildlife enthusiast, there's much on offer. Large numbers of elephant, buffalo, waterbuck and impala often come down to drink on the opposite bank and hippopotamus are regularly seen and heard.

There's also a fantastic birdlife, with over 145 species to date spotted from the kitchen window.

Tangala House is a good option for a family holiday, and is fully serviced and staffed by Tongabezi Lodge. The house has a spacious kitchen and dining room, a children's playroom, a living room opening onto a thatch veranda, a "snuggery" with a fireplace and a 12m swimming pool.

Tangala House is situated 15km upstream from Victoria Falls looking onto the Zambezi National Park in Zambia.
