Tongabezi Lodge accommodates only 18 guests in 4 twin-bedded, 1 double-bedded and 4 luxury double-bedded houses. A ratio of 4 friendly staff to every guest ensures a luxurious and relaxing stay.
The central lounge, bar and dining room are under thatch and there's a swimming pool which has been landscaped into the rock face.

Location
Tongabezi Lodge is positioned on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 20km upstream from Victoria Falls and Livingstone, and overlooking the Victoria Falls National Park.
Instead of having lunch at Tongabezi Lodge you may opt for a picnic lunch on one of the nearby islands accompanied by a guide. Or, depending on the time of year, you may prefer lunch on Livingstone Island, right on the very edge of the Falls.
In the evenings, you can dine on one of the indoor or outdoor decks in the main lodge, or within the privacy of your own suite.
Each room at Tongabezi Lodge is unique in design and they all are comfortably furnished with spacious en suite facilities that include a shower and a bath with a view. All rooms have private views across the Zambezi.
The Garden Cottage is ideal for a family or couple wanting luxury and privacy, as the house is situated behind a private walled garden and set back from the river. It has lovely garden views.
The five River Cottages overlook the Zambezi River and feature a large double bed, or two singles with a spacious en-suite bathroom. There are generous indoor and outdoor areas - ideal for relaxation or private dining.
The Nut House is a beautiful glass tiled suite, with folding doors opening onto a private garden and infinity plunge pool. Sunlight streams through the the glass onto the wood and stone floors, making it a beautiful African retreat.
Dog House is an open-fronted house uniquely designed and furnished with local materials, and is dominated by a king-size bed and airy mosquito net. It has a large open-air sunken bath with beautiful river views. There is also a spacious deck for private dining.
Tree House is situated against the basalt rock bed of the cliff face among the branches of the riverine trees, which gives it its name. The king-size bed has beautiful river views, while the extended mezzanine lounging deck is ideal for private dining. The lowest deck is made up of an extensive open-air bedroom and large sunken bath.
Bird House has a private terrace for outdoor dining, as well as an open-air sunken bath. Like all the other rooms, Bird House is open-air, spacious and luxurious, featuring a king-size bed with mosquito netting.
Honeymoon House is exceptionally indulgent and private, overlooks the river and provides the perfect candlelit dinner location. It's incredibly spacious, with simple flow from the bedroom to all the relaxation areas. It also features an open-air sunken bath with beautiful river views.
The Boat House is Tongabezi's latest concept to promote relaxation, rejuvenation and the space to make time for yourself. With a high tech internet roaming desk and library as well as multiple decks for reading or dining privately or casually. All decks offer exceptional views of the Zambezi River.
Nearby Sindabezi on its own private island, is Tongabezi's sister camp, and ideal for a romantic, secluded and high value Zambian experience.
