The Islands of Siankaba is a luxurious 5-star lodge which sleeps just 12 guests. The 2 islands are linked by a suspension bridge leading to an overhead walkway in the tree canopy connecting the elevated chalets to the haute cuisine restaurant. The winding overhead walkway means that you do not actually walk on the islands' surface, thus protecting the fragile riverine environment.

This diverse region offers many activities which should be suited to everyone, from serene sunset cruise and mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips, to cultural village walks and guided nature walks, to adrenalin pumping white water rafting and bungee jumping. You also have the option to appreciate the wonder of Victoria Falls from a helicopter or microlight.

The Islands of Siankaba Lodge is located 24 miles upstream from the Victoria Fall on 2 densely forested sand islands in the Zambezi River near the Siansimba Rapids.

One of the distinctive features of the lodge is the excellence of its food and wines. The lodge has developed a reputation for 'haute-cuisine in the bush' to compliment its 1st class service.

The 6 chalets have been designed according to travellers' needs and encompass a range of twin or double bed options. They are constructed of teak and custom made canvas and are raised well above ground level in the tree canopy, where the balconies extend out over the river. Imported fittings complement the natural feel of the construction materials used. All chalets are opulently finished and equipped with en-suite bathrooms, ball and claw baths and separate showers, mini bars, large mosquito nets, ceiling fans and private safes.
