Matetsi Water Lodge is situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, 40km west of the Victoria Falls and close to the Botswana border at Kasane.

There are 3 separate intimate camps, each with thatched guest areas containing an elegant dining and sitting area, and a large fireplace. Each camp has 6 suites, with large teak doors opening up onto private plunge pools.

The offered lodge activities take full advantage of its superior position. You can spend the day relaxing in the shade around your own plunge pool, or you can embark on exciting safari excursions. Day and night game drives are offered, as well as guided nature walks. If you have a love for water activities, you could spend a relaxing day fishing in the river, or enjoy boat and canoe cruises.

The camp staff can also arrange for you to visit the famous Victoria Falls, where you can can choose from a variety of activities, ranging from live marimba performances to extreme sports such as sky-diving and bungee jumping.

Matetsi Water Lodge is located in the private Matetsi Game Reserve on the banks of the Zambezi River, 40km west of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

Pan-African cuisine is prepared by accomplished chefs. Dinner may be enjoyed in the camp's thatched dining area, or in the more intimate setting of your private deck. You could also choose to be served dinner in a surprise setting in the Matetsi bush.

Set under Mangosteen and Waterberry trees, Matetsi Water Lodge comprises 3 small, exclusive camps each with 6 private lodges. Each lodge has a thatched guest area with a dining area and fireplace, providing warmth and comfort after a day outdoors.

Each of the suites have en-suite bathrooms, with indoor and outdoor showers. The have vast teak doors which lead out onto their private and secluded plunge pools on private decks, shaded by the canopy of trees.
