Kasaka River Lodge is situated in the natural bush of the Lower Zambezi Valley, overlooking the river. The camp consists of tented chalets connected to the main lodge by elevated walkways, making it easy for animals to pass through the camp.

The main lodge includes a comfortable lounge with a library where you can read up on Africa's abundant fauna and flora. Make your way to the pool area where you can relax on the deck chairs while admiring the tranquil view of the river.

Apart from exciting game drives and walks, Kasaka River Lodge also offers a number of activities including canoeing, fly fishing and river safaris. Children can participate in the Bush Kids programme provided by the camp.

Lodge staff can arrange a visit to the nearby community where you can learn more about how the people there live and work. You also have the opportunity to meet the locals and listen to their stories over a traditional dinner.

Kasaka River Lodge is located 10 minutes from the Royal Airstrip or 20 minutes drive from the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia.

Although Kasaka accommodates families with children, they also have separate accommodation perfect for honeymooners or couples seeking privacy. The honeymoon suite has an inviting 4-poster bed and an open-air bathtub looking out over the river.
