Ruckomechi Camp has a peaceful setting on the banks on the Zambezi River, in Mana Pools National Park - a world heritage site renowned for large numbers of elephant and buffalo, as well as exciting canoe safaris. This recently renovated camp offers luxurious accommodation in spacious, tented suites.

Ilala Lodge is an easy walk from Victoria Falls. This comfortable lodge borders the Victoria Falls National Park, and warthog and elephant are often seen wandering around the hotel grounds. Ground floor rooms open onto large lawns, while upper lever rooms have a view across to the spray rising up from the Falls.

Little Makalolo is in a private concession of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's premiere wildlife reserve. The camp has recently been totally rebuilt, with luxurious tents overlooking a much-visited waterhole. Hwange is a Big Five reserve known for huge herds of elephant, as well as frequent sightings of lion.

Matetsi Water Lodge is in a large private game reserve, around a 30-minute drive from Victoria Falls. The lodge has a prime riverside setting, and is well known for tiger fishing and river cruises on the Zambezi. You can easily go on an early morning game, catch the free shuttle down to the Falls, and be back in time for afternoon tea.
