Zimbabwe offers some of Africa's most famous and exciting destinations. For the sheer thrill of seeing the mighty Zambezi River plunge 100 metres into a narrow twisting gorge, then head for Victoria Falls and all its adrenalin-pumping activities.

The Zambezi quietens as it heads downstream and becomes the tranquil Lake Kariba, home to hippos and houseboats. Further downstream will bring you to the game-rich Mana Pools National Park.

Hwange National Park in the western woodlands of Zimbabwe is Big Five country and the highlight of any wildlife safari.

This country is not just a wildlife destination however, Zimbabwe is home to 5 of Africa's 30 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Ancient civilizations are represented by the magnificent Great Zimbabwe National Monument and Khami Ruins National Monument.

For those who wish to see a different side to Zimbabwe's natural environment, head for the cool shady forests of the Chimanimani Mountain Range or the history-steeped Chinhoyi Caves.
