Zimbabwe's climate is generally very warm (comparable with southern California). Because of the country's elevation, which averages 915m above sea level, the temperature rarely exceeds 33°C or falls below 7°C. Nevertheless, temperatures around 30°C are very hot, and are experienced regularly.
Zimbabwe's summer is from November to February, and the days are hottest at this time. Zimbabwe also receives almost all of its rain during summer.
