Linkwasha

Superior tented camps on a private concession within the Hwange National Park.

  • Diversity - Kalahari savannah, acacia woodlands, palm islands, and teak forests attract a variety of animal and birdlife.

  • Choice - you have the choice between 2 superior accommodations, Linkwasha and Little Linkwasha.

  • Wildlife - game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, hides and guided walks form part of the Linkwasha experience.

Linkwasha is situated in a private concession area within Hwange National Park. The park comprises many diverse habitats which attract a wide variety of wildlife including over 400 species of birds. The area is known for its big game, particularly the predators, as well as large herds of elephants and buffalo. During summer months many of the plains-game (and their predators) migrate to this section of the park to enjoy the lush grazing on the open savannah.

The camp is set in a beautiful location in the middle of a broad plain overlooking the waterhole. Game viewing activities include safaris in 4x4 vehicles, hides, and guided walks. Viewing game close up at a waterhole from one of the area's many hides is an experience not to be forgotten.

Both camps have a thatched dining room, pub and lounge area. After game activities you can relax alongside the plunge pool or on the viewing platform which offers great vistas across the plains.
