Siabuwa is a tiny traditional village of about 1000 inhabitants in Matabeleland, Zimbabwe, about 100km from Binga. The area is desperately poor, and the effects of famine, drought and disease are evident.
As a tourist there's almost no reason to visit Siabuwa, unless you're part of the Michael Project, which is trying to uplift the local community with initiatives like building a pre-school.
Petrol is intermittently available here, and accommodation extends only to camping.
