I was born in Nelspruit but grew up in the sunny city of Durban, South Africa. After completing school, I spent two years in Edinburgh where I was privileged to explore the UK and Wales. I studied at Telford College and worked as a night audit manager at The Carlton Hotel.

I have been planning and booking dream African vacations for the last 14 years. On my return to South Africa, I took a position at Flight Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, where I designed trips to various destinations around the world. Soon after, I moved back to Durban, where I worked for Pentravel before realising that I wanted to focus purely on travel in Africa. This led me to my roles as a senior consultant at New Frontiers Tours and content creator at Safari.com. Now I find myself at Go2Africa; a family I happily joined because the company has been in operation for 21 years and has proven to be one of the leading safari companies in Africa by truly valuing the customer experience!

Most Memorable Sighting

A pack of hunting wild dogs ran by when we stopped to stretch our legs during an afternoon game drive in the Okavango Delta. It was a special moment to be at eye-level with these endangered animals.

Client Advice

You get really close to wild animals on a safari – you’re able to see every detail - so keep those cameras at the ready!

Expert Tip

The luxury villas at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, in South Africa's Sabi Sands Game Reserve, have two separate en suite bedrooms that are separated by a living area. Thus, parents and kids each have their own space, as well as a private patio and swimming pool. Children even get a fluffy, stuffed friend to loan for their stay and an activity pack. The villas also include a private vehicle and guide, so families have the flexibility to focus on their specific interests and can return to the lodge earlier if the kids get tired.

Loves to Hear

I love hearing that I made their dreams come true, and that they plan on returning to Africa soon!
