Having grown up spending my holidays in the wilds of Kruger Park and Botswana, my heart has always been deeply connected to safaris, especially the wildlife and vibrant birdlife. Since moving to Cape Town and joining Go2Africa in 2019, I've had the incredible opportunity to explore and discover new destinations across Africa. My greatest joy is sharing this profound love and knowledge with my clients, helping them craft their dream trips and create unforgettable memories in the heart of Africa.  

Soulful Safari Reflection 

My best moments on safari are when I'm able to get off the vehicle and experience a bush walk. Walking in the bush offers a unique opportunity to become a participant among Africa's wildlife, rather than just a spectator. My most memorable moment was on foot in the Sabi Sands when an impala alarm call alerted me to a female leopard walking nearby, closely followed by her young cub.  

My Best African Travel Advice 

Make the most of your time at your lodge. An incredible amount of work goes into operating a hotel in the middle of the bush, and you only have a few hours each day to appreciate this when you aren't out on game drives. Explore the different areas of your lodge and talk to the staff members. They all have incredible stories, having lived in the African wild most of their lives, and will gladly share them with you with a big smile on their faces.
