Soulful Safari Reflection

Undoubtedly my meerkat experience in Botswana! The Makgadikgadi Pans are one of my favourite places in Africa. And to be able to visit the meerkat colony and see them up close, taking no notice of the humans around them, was an experience I will never forget. 

Most Memorable Experience Organised for a Client

I arranged a helicopter tour over Cape Town for a honeymoon couple who were rather hesitant at first due to the cost and being afraid of heights, but still wanted to do it. Eventually they decided to take the plunge! The helicopter company collected them from their hotel and transferred them to the hangar for all the pre-flight formalities. They absolutely loved the whole experience – from being collected and dropped off from their hotel to the flight itself, they felt like celebrities.  

My Best African Travel Advice

Pack light and remember comfortable shoes! Top tip: a kikoi or sarong is always extremely useful on safari. And don't forget to smile, it can open so many unexpected doors.
