Soulful Safari Reflection

One of my best moments on safari was having a communal dinner under the African sky with guests at Ol Seki camp in the Masai Mara while discussing the highlights of our game drives. One of the guests shared how a cheetah jumped on the roof of their open-sided vehicle and he almost fainted! With good food, great company, the night sky filled with stars, and the surrounding sounds of insects and animals, it was the perfect night of tranquillity and connection in the wild! 

Most Memorable Experience Organised for a Client

I once planned a trip for a world-renowned photographer to Chyulu Hills and Masai Mara. On his bucket list was seeing a leopard and a pangolin! The universe must have been smiling on him because he reported that he saw them both as well as the Big 5. Once departed, he commented that he had seen many beautiful places but none compared to Kenya. In subsequent years, he booked more trips to East Africa and he was always in awe of the landscapes and people he met. 

My Best African Travel Advice    

Expect the unexpected! Keep in mind that when dealing with nature, anything can happen at any anytime. Sometimes this can be rain during your game drive followed by a lovely sunset or traffic caused by a pride of lions napping in the middle of the road. Have an open mind and enjoy the experience!
