I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and lived there for 15 years before making the move down to Cape Town - where I've been ever since!

I have travelled a fair bit with my family over the years. My mom worked for a Portuguese airline, so we travelled internationally and within South Africa. I've had the ‘travel bug’ ever since - it's what led me to study Tourism and Events at Stellenbosch University, and have been working as a consultant and travel expert since 2011.

Most Memorable Sighting

A memorable one was watching a pride of lionesses take down a zebra in South Africa's Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Expert Tip

On game drives, the back row is normally the bumpiest - so try to get the front seats!
