Pool View Room

The guest house has 22 suites, each positioned to give maximum privacy and views of the garden. En suite bathrooms are fitted with a double vanity unit and shower, with half of the suites also fitted with bathtubs. The suites are either furnished with twin or double beds and have modern amenities such as TV sets, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning and universal chargers.

General Facilities

Batonka Guest House has a quiet garden setting with a large veranda for enjoying cheerful breakfasts and pre-dinner drinks. Under the shady veranda you will also find a bar area and an outdoor lounge. The indoor living space has a dining room, lounge and fireplace. The stepped garden has a swimming pool as well as careful grey water and irrigation systems in place to conserve water.

    The guest lodge in Victoria Falls, Batonka, was in complete contrast to the safari lodges and was a great place to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed all the excursions, the sunset cruise, Victoria Falls, and the elephant sanctuary. One evening we dined at the Victoria Safari Lodge which overlooks a waterhole. Very happy to say that we finally got to see a herd of buffalo for the first time! We have been in safaris over the past 20 years and that was the only one of the Big Five we had never seen before!

    Batonka Lodge in Victoria Falls was great. Generously sized, clean rooms in a beautiful garden / pool setting, shuttle service, taxi service, nice breakfast made it a pleasant stay. It didn’t have a large hotel vibe (which is a good thing in our view).
