Wood, leather, animal prints, African fabrics and chandeliers evoke the grandiosity of the bygone years of the classic safari. An outdoor seating area in the shade of an ebony tree is the perfect spot for alfresco meals while, on winter nights, a roaring fireplace in the dining room creates a snug and cosy haven.

The Therapy Lapa Spa provides a tranquil space to soothe and revitalise, while the quirky open-air Bush Gym (with free weights, treadmill and spinning equipment) and sauna allows you to burn off the kilojoules from the kitchen’s irresistible fare! For retail therapy, an amply stocked gift shop has the ideal memento of your adventures.

Team Tusker is a dedicated group of rangers who make it their mission to enthrall children with the mysteries of the bush, leading them in spoor identification, tracking and animal arts & crafts, among other entertaining and educational activities. Cheetah interaction can be arranged at the Hoedspruit Endangered Animal Centre to allow you to better appreciate these astonishing predators and understand the threats they face.
