    Cornerstone Guesthouse in Swakopmund was a wonderful recommendation from you. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast room was lovely and bright. We have already recommended it to our family in Namibia.

    I rate the accommodation in a starred rating, but based on what I expect (from a more or less professional point of view, owning 3.5 star and 5 star rated resorts myself) from accommodation and service etc.
    Cornerstone Guesthouse is an excellent B & B – as no dinner not in the same category but lovely owners, very pleasant and HEATED and large rooms.
    Showers, no baths. Id I had to rate it it would be 3.5 stars We had dinner at the Tug on the Pier. Good food but too touristy and overrated and very noisy. Can highly recommend Erichs – excellent fish and calm atmosphere and excellent waiters

    Cornerstone Guest House was good an has the best fried eggs in Namibia!!!!
    We arrived late Saturday morning, and the whole Swakopmund area seems to close for the weekend – maybe we were too early in the season.
    No alcohol was sold in the shops after 1pm Saturday!
    We were unable to book flights to see the Skeleton Coast as all the flights were full – recommend booking well before arriving in Swakopmund, but be advised many of the flight offices are closed at the weekend – which also adds to the problem of booking at weekends.
    Recommend Kuike’s Bar – good food and friendly staff . Beware of the Underberg!!!!.
    Cape Cross Seal Reserve is a must to visit.
