Overview of De Kloof Luxury Estate
Situated just a short walk from the old, historic part of Swellendam, De Kloof Luxury Estate is in a lovely, leafy residential street and opens onto an enormous garden with beautiful views of the Langeberg Mountains. Originally built in 1801, the Cape Dutch guesthouse has been carefully renovated by the owners and stylishly decorated with antiques and artefacts from the couple’s travels to the East and time spent living in West Africa.
Spend your days exploring the area, practicing your golf swing at the guesthouse driving range, or relaxing beside the 12m swimming pool. In the evenings, you can enjoy complimentary wine tastings. Head out along the scenic Route 62 to experience the Langeberg Mountains and the route’s stunning wineries. Located together in an enclosed private zen garden, the Deluxe Garden Suites are exquisite in design. These suites offer more space than the Luxury Rooms to include the built-in leather couches and the flat screen TV. The large en suite designer bathrooms offer a separate bath, large rain shower, and dual vanities.
Manor XL Suite
Situated in the original manor house, the Manor XL suite combines the historical with modern, eclectic elements. The main room is outfitted with a stabilised king-sized waterbed, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, while the bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub, dual rain showers, double vanities, and under-floor heating. The suite offers a private patio with stunning mountain views.

Practice your swing on the estate’s driving range and putting green – clubs and equipment are available for your use, or cool off and unwind at the large sparkling pool with its stunning views of the Langeberg Mountains.
