We loved the Dock House Hotel. It was so small and romantic. The staff was so attentive and kind. We often ate at the Queen Victoria Hotel and the food and service were very good. We enjoyed going to V&A Waterfront and had fun at the Cause / Effect bar. Jim even went into the pool one day (but it was quite cold).
