Overview of Fordoun Hotel & Spa

The Fordoun Hotel & Spa is a restored 1800’s farmhouse in the kwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The courtyard-style lay-out of the buildings adds to the homely feel, as does the classic farm-style décor. The original farm buildings have been tastefully converted to create an atmosphere of understated luxury, combining the rustic elements of the brick buildings with the contemporary lavishness of the spa facilities.

Enjoy long walks around the expansive grounds or visit the herb garden and resident herbalist, Dr Elliot Ndlovu. The neighbouring areas abound with interesting cultural and natural delights. Activities here range from horse riding to hot-air balloon rides; from mountain-biking to fly fishing. For the ultimate in pampering, visit the acclaimed Fordoun Spa where a range of health care and beauty treatments are on offer.
