Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti
Set in the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti combines rewarding year-round wildlife viewing with the comfort and service of a luxury resort. Elevated walkways and viewing areas look across the surrounding plains, while a waterhole beside the lodge regularly attracts elephants and other wildlife.
Days can be spent exploring the Serengeti on game drives, walking safaris or hot-air balloon flights, with opportunities to search for the Big Five and witness the seasonal movements of the Great Migration. Between activities, cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the waterhole, visit the Discovery Centre or unwind with a treatment at the spa.
With spacious accommodation, dedicated children’s activities and plenty to enjoy back at the lodge, Four Seasons is particularly well suited to couples, families and multi-generational groups travelling together. Its central Serengeti location makes it a strong year-round safari option and combines well with the Ngorongoro Crater or a beach stay in Zanzibar.

The Savannah Rooms combine contemporary African design with views across the Serengeti. Interiors draw inspiration from Maasai traditions, with patterned fabrics, natural finishes and warm tones reflecting the surrounding landscape.
A shaded private terrace provides space to sit outside and take in the views, while a deep soaking tub, refrigerated bar and comfortable living area make it easy to relax between safari activities.
The Terrace Suites offer additional space with a separate sitting room and private infinity-edge plunge pool overlooking the savannah. An outdoor shower and generous terrace provide more opportunities to spend time outside while enjoying the privacy of your suite.
The lodge's freestanding villas provide greater privacy and generous space for families and groups travelling together. Separate living and dining areas and expansive pool decks create comfortable places to gather, while the Private Villa Experience adds personalised in-villa dining and dedicated service. Depending on your party size, choose from one, two and three-bedroom villas.
The infinity pool is a favourite place to spend time between game drives, overlooking the lodge’s waterhole where elephants and other wildlife regularly gather to drink. For a quieter afternoon, guests can unwind with a treatment at the spa, while the fitness centre offers a more active way to spend time back at the lodge.
The Discovery Centre brings the Serengeti’s wildlife, people and history to life through interactive exhibits and displays. Younger travellers have their own space at Kijana Klub, with activities designed to introduce them to the wildlife and conservation of the surrounding area.

Four Seasons Safari Lodge: (5+ Star rating) – First notable thing was my driver’s name was COMFORT. I asked him – come on did your parents really name you that. Yep. So, Comfort’s idea of you seeing animals was to literally put you right on top of them which he did. Saw the Big 5 here. All the animals, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, leopards, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles etc. were a stone’s throw away. 3 miles away from the lodge we saw 10 lions about 8 am. Sat there watching them for about 45 minutes until another vehicle showed up. Comfort was all about you and only you viewing the animals. He was an awesome driver. Saw the Wildebeest Migration with thousands in single file headed north. I've seen it on TV but seeing it live (the smell, the sound) makes a huge difference.
Pool was great and they had a closed-circuit TV pointed at the local water hole which you could see on your TV in your room day and night. A nice little perk. The only TV I watched on the entire trip.
I would definitely come back here.
“This is great for the first time traveller that really wants to experience the bush but with all the comfort of a luxury lodge rather than camp. Great views at the pool overlooking watering holes and wonderful location to catch the Migration during the year.
