We had a wonderful time at Imbali Lodge, the facilities were excellent, food was excellent and more importantly the staff made us all feel welcome and couldn't do enough to assist us during our stay. On one particular evening we had a set menu for dinner but having three fussy youngster with us I was worried that they wouldn't like what was on offer. I spoke to Mary and asked if it was possible for the children to have plain meat with no sauce, to which she replied, ‘Nothing is impossible!’. The meals were perfect for the children and they thoroughly enjoyed their evening. Our game drives with Bradley were full of fun, our children are quite lively and Bradley took this in his stride and made sure that we all had an amazing unforgettable experience. I must say we challenged Bradley to show us lions, leopards and rhino on our final drive and he met the challenge. We saw all of the Big 5 before 8am! I would definitely recommend Imbali Safari Lodge to other visitors to Kruger, and I know that if we were ever to return we wouldn't hesitate to return there.

Imbali took the Cake so to speak… Those guys and ladies there were ridiculous in how great the Service, Kindness, Stories and Knowledge were….. Winston, Canwell, Henry, Lirence, Antoniette were EXCEPTIONAL..However. One person who stood out above all, if possible, was our guide/tracker/Assistant Manager Jon.. Unbelievable on the Safaris…. Went the extra mile… We learned and experienced so much and the others on the Safaris with us agreed and felt the same.

Imbali Safari Lodge turned out to be a most magical, comfortable and welcoming base for most of our safaris. The accommodation was excellent, quiet and secluded, although subject to regular elephant ingress into the camp grounds which added to the general interest. The food and service were good as were all the staff we had dealings with, in particular our driver/guide, Oscar, who turned out to be a real treasure trove of information. Whilst at Imbali we enjoyed a most memorable game experience and were most fortunate to see all the Big Five, thanks indeed to the super human efforts of Oscar.
