Other room types

The Honeymoon Suite, which is strategically located to offer privacy as well as spectacular views of a game-rich area within the reserve, has a romantic sunken stone bath.

Facilities

Cool off during the heat of the day by the swimming pool as you gaze out over Zululand and the private nature reserve.

Guided game drives and nature walks are offered in the reserve, and the bird watching in the area is great.

Grab a good book from the lodge's library and retreat to the lounge for a relaxing evening before dinner, after which you might want to order a nightcap from the bar as you listen to the crackle of a log fire in the fireplace on a cool night.

Dining

Offering delicious home-cooked meals is something that Isibindi Zulu Lodge takes great pride in and the lodge has worked hard to develop its reputation of delivering unique South African fare.

Breakfasts and lunches are served either by the pool or on the veranda, while evening dinners are a more formal affair and are enjoyed in the main lodge.

"Our reason for staying here was to do the battlefields. Our guide for this, Mike Nel, was absolutely fantastic and made our day one that we will never forget. I had thought I would be bored, I only wish I had spent two days there not one."
