Kadizora Camp
Per Person Sharing
Set in the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta, Kadizora Camp has a prime location among the savannah floodplains, lagoons and waterways that are so characteristic of one of Africa's most beautiful landmarks and the world's largest inland delta.
Sandwiched between the Vumbura River and the Selinda Spillway (permanent water sources that support large numbers of wildlife), the camp is accessible only by light aircraft, and has access to both river systems which can be explored by boat or canoe. Head out for a sunset cruise and see baby elephants swimming with just their trunks visible, or listen to the gurgling of hippos as they prepare to emerge from the river for the night.
Back at the camp, spend the remainder of your evening reliving the excitement of the day and chatting with your passionate guide over a home-cooked meal. On your morning safari you will head out on a game drive to track lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, giraffe, zebra and more. The varied landscape allows you to experience semi-desert sands, dense Mopani woodlands as well as marshy floodplains.
Kadizora Camp offers a good selection of activities. Classic game drives are complemented by guided nature walks and after dark you can track nocturnal creatures on a night drive. Water-based activities include canoeing in traditional mokoro, boating and birding.

There are 10 tented suites at Kadizora Camp, each positioned to offer plenty of privacy as well as undisturbed views of the surrounding Delta landscape. Tents are fitted with twin beds or a double bed, a sitting area and writing desk, an en suite bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower) and an outdoor deck with seating.
The camp overlooks open savannah and floodplains, and is cocooned in giant marulas, sycamores and jackalberry trees on either side. Central to the shared space is an open-air firepit with seating and dining space. The swimming pool is separately located, also overlooking the floodplains, and is accessed via a decked walkway. This private decked area is perfect for romantic stargazing.

Then to Kadizora. Our guide, Navas, was great! Greg and Sue at the camp were so hospitable and we loved our time there! What a great combination of land / bush and water! A great way to see the lions as well as hippos! Had a great time here.
A comfortable and affordable option in the northern Delta. Kadizora is a warm lodge with private tents and patios. Unique in having year round water and land activities with their excellent guides, they now have an exciting addition of hot air balloon safaris – a rare find in Botswana.
