Khwai Tented Camp is positioned on the edge of a leadwood and fig tree forest, overlooking the Khwai River floodplains in the Khwai Concession. The camp is raised on stilts and features large timber decks – perfect for enjoying the view. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered, while at night guests can enjoy night drives and star gazing. Cultural visits to a local village provide fascinating insight into African life.
For those wanting a true outdoor experience, guided safari walks along the Khwai River are offered, and are a truly great way to experience the Okavango Delta wilderness more intimately. The camp also offers a hide overlooking the floodplains, which is an idyllic spot for birdwatchers and photographers.
Please note that Khwai Tented Camp cannot accommodate children under the age of seven.
