Lake Manyara Serena – gorgeous location, rooms, setting! Great entertainment by the pool before dinner, and at dinner when we asked if there was any local cuisine our waiter brought the chef to speak with us and he cooked us an amazing green banana stew with sides – fantastic!! Only disappointment was that due to our arrival time (around 6pm) and leaving the next day, we didn’t get time to go in the swimming pool (as it closed at the time we arrived). The pool has such a gorgeous view we really wanted to have a swim and were disappointed that we didn’t get the opportunity.

Lake Manyara Serena Lodge – After Arusha Coffee Lodge we were picked up to go to another Safari in Lake Manyara, which was another awesome experience. Then we had lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. The food was pretty good and the view was amazing! Definitely some awesome photo ops! The property was really nice as well. But again that view!

Then onto Lake Manyara – Serena on the side of the Rift Escarpment and overlooking the lake and the National Park. Afternoon game drive partly in different vegetation found some different animals and those we knew in a different environment not that you could get sick of them anyway – at least I don’t think I could. Night drive that night. Brilliant with an armed Park ranger just incase. Was a different way to see wildlife and how they are after dark. Just going ou in the open jeep was an experience. Don’t kow how spotter found what he did – but was all good and we enjoyed our last night on safari by finishing with that.
