The Macushla House was very beautiful and comfortable. The workers made us feel very welcome and very pampered. Millicent even made us chapati when we requested it.
What a wonderful place. The pictures on line do not do it justice. It was awesome and we loved loved loved Mau the resident cat. I would definitely stay there again it was beautiful and peaceful.
Two nights at the Macushla was a good idea, since we arrived so late in the evening. It’s worth staying there just to witness the furnishings. My first thought was “African Eclectic”. The owner was very helpful in assisting us arrange for a guide to take us to the Giraffe Center, Karen Blixen’s House and the Kazuri Bead Factory.
Macushla House – perfect little hideaway. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The location is perfect for a short stop-over in Nairobi.
Macushla has tons of character and the staff are so attentive. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle this is an excellent option.
