I'm struggling to find words to describe how much we enjoyed our trip and how much we appreciated how well cared for we were from landing in Nairobi Airport to returning for our home flight. This trip far exceeded our expectations, and we will be recommending Go2Africa to anyone wanting to travel in Africa.

Mbweha Safari Camp was an excellent starting point which provided us with an excellent introduction to doing a safari. Robert was an outstanding guide and the hours we spent with him in Nakuru Park were great. Robert began explaining about Kenya from the time he picked us up at The Norfolk in Nariobi and we were excited to see zebras all along the way to the Mbweha Safari Camp. If we asked a question he couldn't answer, he quickly found it for us. He helped us learn a few basic words in Swahili and we tried to use them.

When we arrived at our cottage (don't know what to call these gorgeous places), we found our bed covered in rose petals from a local rose bush. It was a lovely welcome to our cottage. We found sleeping surrounded by a mosquito net quite an interesting experience.

Located in the Congreve Conservancy Mbweha is the perfect location to explore the lake region from. This is a great choice if you want to enjoy more than just game drives the extra excursions range from bush breakfasts to sundowners and walks – lots of options to choose from. This lodge is all about rustic charm, great views and friendly service – a good value option.

Mbweha was just incredible. It was so great to be in such a small setting – there were only one or two other couples there and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Sitting by the fire at night was a pleausre and we felt like the staff was welcoming us home as part of their family. They were incredibly friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Wake up call with freshly brewed coffee and biscuits? Yes please!
