Sleep under canvas at this authentic tented camp, located near Namibia’s heavyweight Etosha National Park. Mushara Bush Camp's en suite tents are arranged around an airy, open-sided main building and the large swimming pool.

Being only 10 kms from Etosha National Park, Mushara Bush Camp is a perfect launching point for self-drive game viewing in the park. Alternatively, take the morning and/or afternoon professionally guided game drives offered by Mushara Bush Camp. Etosha is big game country and famous for its healthy populations of elephant, rhino, giraffe and zebra. There are many antelope species and all the big cats are present.

Mushara Bush Camp provides an exceptional safari experience for families, particularly those with young children. There is a specially designed play area with books, toys and games, as well as a jungle gym and kiddies swimming pool near the main building. Children can be supervised by friendly minders and early meal times can be arranged to make life easier for parents on safari.

Standard Tent

Mushara Bush Camp has 16 standard tents made from canvas, wood and local limestone with their own private veranda and large windows to let in both light and the magical views – indeed, even the en suite bathrooms offer wonderful natural views.

Families will be pleased to learn that Mushara Bush Camp has four tents that have sleeper couches which can accommodate up to two small children.

General Facilities

The main thatched Bush Camp area incorporates a bar, curio shop, guest lounge and restaurant on the covered veranda. If you’re travelling as a family, your children will love the play area, well-equipped with books, toys and games and their own kids’ pool. Spend hot afternoons relaxing around the swimming pool and cool evenings gathered around the campfire in the open-air boma.
