Deluxe Tent
Taking inspiration from the elegant style of a traditional Edwardian hunting safari tent, the rooms at Olare Mara Kempinski are raised on wooden decks to optimise the surrounding view. Each tent is named after the unique view it provides – the Olmakau (Hippopotamus) room overlooks the hippo pools of the Ntiakitiak River and the Nayokutuk (Vervet Monkey) room delivers Vervet monkey sightings all day.
Echoing design elements of a bygone-era, each tent features a private wrap-around verandah, offering panoramic views of the wilderness and providing the opportunity to see the animals (such as giraffe, hippos, hyenas, elephants and more) up close as they graze and play near the camp – keep an ear out for the monkey chattering, whooping of the hyenas and lions coughing that can be heard clearly from inside your tent.
