Papaya Lake Lodge
Papaya Lake Lodge in Uganda is a gateway to the foothills of the Great Crater Lakes region and nearby Kibale National Park. A rich and diverse landscape of meandering lakes enveloped by lush evergreen forests, with views of the towering Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge is located near the working-plantations of teas, bananas, guavas and avocados offering a glimpse at an agricultural lifeline of western Uganda.

Lovely lodge with amazing views of a crater lake. Spacious and nicely decorated cottages, all with a double and a single bed. There is also a 3-bedroom option for families. The staff seemed lovely and friendly. It was a site inspection so cannot comment on the food.
