Descending the slopes of an extinct volcano crater, Papaya Lake Lodge offers spacious cottages surrounded by lush evergreen trees. Your veranda opens up to sweeping views of Lyantonde Lake, inviting you to kick back in complete privacy on a relaxing deck chair.

An atmosphere of serenity can be found in each room, with its simplistic design, elements set against hardwood floors and fresh white linens. Cottages are equipped with king-sized beds draped with protective mosquito nets and include a single bed welcoming children under the age of 6 at no additional charge. Cleanse yourself in a stone-floored bathroom with a refreshing walk-in shower and comfy bathrobes.

    Lovely lodge with amazing views of a crater lake. Spacious and nicely decorated cottages, all with a double and a single bed. There is also a 3-bedroom option for families. The staff seemed lovely and friendly. It was a site inspection so cannot comment on the food.
