The Polana is a Maputo landmark! Noted for its design by Herbert Baker, this city hotel is perfectly accessed from the airport and harbour. If spending more than one night, do get out and explore Maputos shops which are within easy reach. My favourite spot was the Aquarius bar and restaurant which serves sushi and delicious cocktails, the views here are magic!
