The Retreats at Namiri Plains is situated along the underground springs of the Ngare Nanyuki River in the eastern grasslands of the Serengeti. The region is renowned for its abundance of wild cats, including a healthy population of lions and leopards, which can be spotted during dedicated game drives. The grasslands are also teeming with plains game, especially during the Great Migration season from October to May, when the mighty wildebeest make their annual trek.

Every corner of the lodge is hand-styled by Asilia's beloved curator, Caline Williams-Wynn. Her immaculate command of interior design blends muted grey calcrete, tranquil softwoods tones, and pops of sunshine yellow to create a relaxing aura that seamlessly integrates with the golden grass landscapes of the Serengeti. As an intimate camp, Namiri Plains offers both the stillness of private spaces and the conviviality of a communal fire pit for a truly immersive safari experience.

Namiri Plains Retreat is ideal for an exclusive and dedicated safari experience, providing spacious lodgings with lounge and dining areas perfect for large family gatherings. Adults can savour selected aperitifs around the fire pit, while children excitedly roast marshmallows over the flames. You can also chat with the friendly staff to arrange a once-in-a-lifetime hot-air balloon safari at an additional charge.
