Freshness and quality are the two main factors around which the chefs at Sarova Mara build their delicious meals. Apart from the Isokon Restaurant, there are many bush and outdoor dining options to suit your tastes and preferences and to make every meal a memorable occasion.
Isokon Restaurant is the main restaurant, offering buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners created using ingredients sourced from the camp’s own vegetable garden. Enjoy extensive continental, salad and dessert buffets while you're entertained by the live cooking counters where speciality dishes are prepared. Evenings will offer live entertainment and you’ll also find an eclectic selection of new world and classic wines to accompany your meal.
The alfresco dining boma offers a more authentic African experience and is a wonderful place where large groups can dine in private and enjoy a vibrant, memorable meal. The boma is situated on the edge of the grounds, leaving the wilderness only a stone's throw away and the star-studded sky above.
For a dining experience that is even closer to the Kenyan wilderness, you can enjoy champagne breakfasts in the bush after morning game drives or bush dinners that include a barbecue, game meats and other local delicacies, accompanied by traditional music and dance.
Picnic meals area also available if you want to combine your game viewing with lunch or breakfast.

Larger camp ideal for families with a plethora of activities for kids. Great location during migration months.
The Maasai Mara was incredible, and the Sarova Mara is a great place to stay while exploring. We were so well looked after by the staff and the excellent facilities. The animals in the park turned on an amazing display for us – simply incredible. Our guide, Ken, was very attentive and entertaining. He went out of his way to make our safari everything it was.
Stunning sunsets and bright starry nights were also an unexpected treat. Truly spiritual.
Sarova Mara Game Camp – Getting to this next resort was an adventure in itself with the plane rides. We were welcomed by a real Masai named Daniel who was very knowledgeable and was our guide throughout our stay. During our safari rides with him, we were able to spot four out of the big fives. Being that it was our first time in the Masai Plains, it was breathtaking seeing the beautiful African sunsets. At the resort, we were welcomed by Caroline who was a sweetheart and made sure that we were taken care of. The tented camp with the bathroom was very nice and comfortable. It gave a sense of camping with the luxury of a room. The food at the lunch buffet was decent, although we did have a bbq buffet dinner one night and that was delicious. The next day we opted for a hot air balloon ride and we were lucky to be the only couple riding that balloon. The views were amazing from the air, though it wasn't the season to see a lot of animals since the migration season was over. Once we landed, we had a wonderful bush breakfast prepared for us and since we were the only one, it was a private breakfast for two! We finished off the day with another safari. On our last day, the resort gave us their own bush breakfast which was a nice touch before leaving the resort.
