Segera House
Segera House is a magnificent two-storey stone and thatched roof house that features a beautiful Swahili door that welcomes you to an open-plan living room and three en-suite master bedrooms. This is the ultimate in luxury and privacy on safari and comes with its own chef and attendant. Elegant and contemporary furniture using natural materials creates an ambience of a relaxed holiday home, perfect for multi-generational family travel or couples travelling together.
General Facilities
A luxurious retreat designed in absolute harmony with nature, Segera Retreat embodies the concept of an eco-resort without compromising on comfort. Powered by solar energy and utilizing recyclable water resources, six timber and thatch villas rise up above the oasis-like botanical gardens, dotted with sculptures.
The villas feature elevated wooden decks complete with a sunken Jacuzzi where you can sip a cocktail and soak up the tremendous views of Mount Kenya rising from the plains. Relax on outdoor swing beds, set in the shade and ideal for an afternoon snooze, or enjoy a sleep out under the stars with the sounds of the African night echoing around you.
