Safari Tent

The camp’s six spacious Meru tents are positioned to make the most of stunning views from their private verandahs. The décor is elegantly simple without compromising on comfort. Large gauze windows keep insects out but allow a cooling breeze to pass through the tent. A separate en suite bathroom features eco-friendly flush toilets and vintage-style hot bucket showers. Generous pitchers of piping hot water are delivered promptly on request.

The family tent comprises two en suite bedrooms connected by a spacious sitting area and is ideal for parents travelling with children eight years and older.

General Facilities

With the Wildebeest Migration as the primary focus of your safari, this intimate tented camp offers an intense and exclusive wilderness experience. A private guide and vehicle ensure that you make the most of what nature has to offer and experience the migration at your own pace.

Take a picnic lunch with you and spend the day out in the Serengeti, or return to camp for lunch after a morning adventure and head out again in the late afternoon. Enjoy downtime on your private verandah watching the wildebeest go by, or curl up in the communal lounge with a book from the well-stocked library and a cold drink.

Dining

A steaming cup of tea or aromatic coffee is delivered to your tent with the early morning wake-up call. Before departing for your game drive, a light breakfast is served in the dining room. When you return to camp, a generous brunch will await you – a feast to replenish you for the afternoon's activities.

Many guests choose to spend the full day out in the wilderness instead, and tuck into a delicious picnic lunch served under a shady tree in the savannah. With an appetite sharpened by fresh air and the excitement of the migration spectacle unfolding around you, every meal is a welcome celebration that the staff delight in serving you.

Each evening brings cocktails at the fireside and shared stories with fellow travellers before a sumptuous dinner is served by candlelight under the Serengeti's dazzling canopy of stars.

Nomad Serengeti was very nice, the setup had all the basics, and they took us on game drives where we almost never saw another vehicle.
