Style & Decor
A study of modern sophistication and glamour, Serenity combines innovative design with state-of-the-art functionality to produce luxury living at its best. Designed to capture the essence of cosmopolitan Cape Town living, the split-level configuration allows for open-plan living; the award-winning kitchen and the spacious living and dining rooms are on the ground floor while five of the six bedrooms are set on the first level.
Double-volume glass facades and retractable doors enhance the feeling of space by connecting the interior and exterior, taking full advantage of the incredible views. Strong, angular lines are softened by natural, earthy hues with warm balau timber, creamy stone and opaque glass blending beautifully.
Neighbourhood
With mighty Table Mountain and its Twelve Apostles range acting as a backdrop to a palm-lined beachfront, Camps Bay is one of South Africa’s premier tourist destinations. While the neighbourhood’s popular beachfront buzzes with the hottest restaurants, beautiful beach bars and coolest cafés, Camps Bay still has a distinct village feel about it, embracing a languid and ‘lazy Sunday’ kind of atmosphere.
Have a picnic supper on the beach, watch the world go by at Café Caprice or feast on fresh seafood at one of the excellent restaurants on the strip. Should you wish to experience more of Cape Town’s amazing attractions, the villa is just a short drive away from Cape Town’s CBD, the got-it-all V&A Waterfront and the bars and restaurants of Sea Point and Green Point.
Suitability
The suave and sophisticated villa is perfect for extended families and groups of friends looking for a luxurious, laid-back Cape Town holiday with all the creature comforts.
Best time to visit
Hot, cloudless days and cool sea breezes make Cape Town's December - March summers famous, so this is usually the best time to visit. Being one of the top holiday destinations in the world, Camps Bay sees an influx of visitors in peak season December and January but you will enjoy less crowded beaches and equally warm temperatures in February and March.
From May to September, the winter season brings cool rainy days, interspersed with long, gorgeously sunny periods. This is the best time to explore Cape Town without the crowds.
