Ideal for the discerning traveller, Simbambili Game Lodge is a luxury safari lodge situated on the banks of the seasonal Manyeleti River in the exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve. As the lodge accommodates a maximum of 18 guests, you’re ensured a truly private and personalised experience.
This Big 5 area is well known for its exceptional wildlife viewing, and in particular its regular leopard sightings. Set out on early morning and late afternoon/early evening game drives to experience the African wilderness at its most active and rewarding. The expert rangers are allowed to go off-road for close-up sightings, and guided bush walks are also offered.
Make a Positive Impact Through TravelThornybush Community is a non-profit organisation with the objective of nurturing and uplifting the surrounding local communities adjacent to its protected areas. Located on the western border of the Greater Kruger National Park and on the boundary of the Northern Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, Thornybush Community initially focused its work on two villages, Uthla and a smaller neighbouring community, Dixie. In 2019, a new geographical area was identified in Acornhoek, and this has allowed for some exciting new initiatives and partnerships. Over the years, the focus areas have expanded, and Thornybush Community has become a contributor to the NPO sector and supports various community initiatives. |
