Overview of Simbavati Waterside

Standing on a staggering 60,000 hectares of untamed wilderness, Klaserie Game Reserve forms part of the greater Kruger National Park and is one of the largest privately owned reserves in South Africa. More than just stunning natural beauty with diverse wildlife, it is also home to Simbavati Waterside Lodge, a luxury property that offers guests an exclusive and private safari experience in Africa.

The lodge was conceptualised, designed and built to be a natural extension of the Klaserie wilderness from which it draws its inspiration. If you’re seeking the perfect romantic getaway or family holiday, Simbavati Waterside is a luxury safari sojourn. The lodge features sophisticated décor, sublime cuisine and intimate spaces for absolute privacy.

The game viewing is as exceptional as the lodge itself. Being so close to the Kruger National Park, game drives are a great way to encounter many beloved species of wildlife that have made this region famous. T Simbavati Waterside also flanks a large dam in the southern region of the reserve,  where elephant, hippo and buffalo are drawn to quench their thirst,  all right in front of the lodge – a perfect armchair safari experience.
