Set within Kenya’s Suyian Conservancy, Suyian Homestead is an exclusive-use safari home surrounded by open landscapes and rugged hills. With five suites, generous living spaces and an infinity pool overlooking the Sanctuary, it provides a comfortable base for exploring this remote part of northern Kenya.

Game drives, guided nature walks, horseback safaris and camel experiences offer different ways to explore the conservancy, while visits with local herders and active ranching tours reveal another side of life here. Conservation and community development are closely linked, giving you the opportunity to learn more about efforts to protect wildlife and support local livelihoods.

Suyian Homestead is particularly well suited to families and groups of friends travelling together. With activities tailored to each stay, days can range from game viewing and outdoor adventures to yoga, wellness treatments or time spent relaxing at the homestead.

Villa

Each suite has its own layout and outlook, with a bedroom, separate bathroom and private flush toilet. A fireplace, bath and shower provide the essentials for a comfortable stay, while a private verandah, personal bar and coffee station make it easy to settle in after a day in the bush.

One of the suites can be configured as a Triple Suite on request, making it a flexible option for families travelling together. Set apart from the other suites, the Master Suite has a spacious bedroom, separate lounge and dressing area. A fireplace separates the bedroom from the sitting area, while the outdoor courtyard adds a peaceful place to relax between activities.

General Facilities

The open design of Suyian Homestead brings the main living areas together around the pool, lounge, bar and dining spaces. The 15-metre infinity pool overlooks the Sanctuary, with a collection of private courtyards offering quieter places to read, relax or take in the views.

A well-equipped gym and yoga space let guests stay active between safari activities, while in-room wellness treatments make it easy to unwind without leaving the homestead.

 Dining is shaped around each group’s preferences, with a private chef preparing meals using ingredients from the kitchen gardens, local suppliers and northern Kenya. Flexible dining throughout the day makes it easy to fit meals around safari activities and time at the homestead.

Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, with private dining also available when guests prefer a more intimate setting.
