The Mushara Outpost is renowned for its fine dining. The lodge – styled on an old farm house with high walls, a corrugated iron roof and wraparound veranda – has a lovely homely, lived-in feel. Buffet style breakfasts and set-menu lunches are taken at the main lodge while dinner is enjoyed under the clear African night sky. Meals are accompanied by a selection of quality South African wines.

We liked the Mushara Outpost best. We had the special feeling that there was a very good working atmosphere, that the staff enjoyed their work and that everyone was in a good mood.
The Outpost is one of my favourite places; I love the main farmhouse’s contemporary decor yet homely feel and the romantic tented accommodation; you can tell this place is owner-managed and is run by a passionate, long-standing team.
Superior luxury lodge with an old farmhouse charm… perfect for the discerning traveller.
