The Sands @ St Francis is a thatch-roofed, whitewashed African beach house set on the edge of the Indian Ocean. Located in the Eastern Cape’s stunning St Francis Bay, The Sands offers uninterrupted views of the coast and is well placed to deliver a wonderful beach holiday in a peaceful and unspoilt environment.
Spend lazy days at the beach, go on whale watching and dolphin safaris or book deep-sea fishing trips, paddle-skiing excursions and canal cruises. St Francis Bay is also only an hour away from Port Elizabeth, gateway to the excellent Addo Elephant National Park, as well as being within easy striking distance of many of the Eastern Cape’s malaria-free Big 5 game reserves.

You can enjoy full English breakfasts, light lunches and à la carte dinners paired with some fine wines from the Director’s Cellar.
Lunch and beverages may also be enjoyed at the pool. Should you prefer to eat out, the hotel is also close to some fine restaurants.
