Overview of Tintswalo Manor House

South Africa, Kruger National Park

This exclusive safari villa is situated in a private concession within the Manyeleti Reserve that shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. Tintswalo Manor House offers luxurious accommodation for only 10 guests in a secluded area, making it ideal for groups of friends or families.

The large, thatched Manor has a beautiful swimming pool, deep shaded patio and traditional boma and guests enjoy a private safari vehicle, guide and tracker for the duration of their stay. You can therefore enjoy game drives into the Kruger National Park or around the concession at your own time, staying as long as you desire. Other activities include game walks and visits to a local Shangaan village to learn about their culture and way of life.

Exclusive Use

The Manor house comfortably sleeps 10 guests in a range of rooms around this thatched house. The ground floor features three en suite, air-conditioned rooms that can be either double or twin. One of these bedrooms even has an optional child’s room leading off it, making it great for families with smaller children. Upstairs you’ll find the main double en suite bedroom that boasts beautiful views of the surrounding wilderness.

General Facilities

Guests at the Manor House have full access to the Vital Source Spa at the main Tintswalo Safari Lodge – an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the bush.

The large patio and boma at the Manor House create a wonderful social space to enjoy sundowners or evening coffee, sharing stories and listening to the sounds of the surrounding bush.

    Tintswalo was AWESOME! I am so super glad that we decided to stick with the manor house rather than go with separate rooms in a lodge, because more than anything else, the service was splendid at Tintswalo. When we got to the airport, the drivers were waiting to escort us to the hotel. The safari experience itself was great – we got lucky and saw two lion cubs tracking their prey one night, and the next morning, we saw the same lions eating the buffalo they had killed! We also saw a whole family of elephants at the water hole right in front of the manor house the evening of our arrival. We saw 4 out of the Big 5, and we missed out on the most elusive leopard. The highlights here were the excellent and efficient service as well as the game drives, because we got to see some exciting stuff.

    Tintswalo Manor House: WOW, WOW, WOW !!! Words cannot describe the wonderful experience we had here. What a way to top off our trip. From our arrival to our departure the entire staff was superb. The house staff did not leave a single stone unturned. From the warm towels on return from game drives to the baths filled with rose peddles. Every meal was set to a setting that will be remembered for a life time. THE GAME DRIVES: Again WOW, WOW, WOW!! Can’t say enough about our guide and tracker. Simon the tracker has to be the best. And yes, we did get to view the Big Five.

The rooms were amazing – so beautiful with every amenity you could think of :hairdryer, adapter, mosquito repellent, etc… The bathrooms were lovely with clawfoot tubs, rain shower, and plenty of vanity items.
