Overview of Trogon House
Trogon House and Forest Spa is situated 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay on what is arguably the most scenic part of South Africa’s Garden Route. This secluded luxury lodge offers a uniquely quiet and peaceful atmosphere: attached to massive tree trunks and set in the tree tops of an indigenous forest, the lodge consists of three elevated buildings linked by wooden walkways.
Trogon House embraces nature with its transparent glass walls and skylight roofs, making this an extraordinary experience for all visitors. Daily guided walks in the forest and drumming sessions on the deck at your private pool are some of the activities on offer, and there’s plenty more on offer in the vicinity: the region is home to many adventure activities as well as family-friendly animal parks and some of the finest beaches in the Cape.

Breakfast is served on an elevated pool deck linked by walkways. The small a la carte restaurant and bar is situated at Malabar Lodge and accommodates up to 16 guests although you can choose to dine on your own terrace or private balcony.
A picnic basket can also be prepared according to your requirements. The Forest Boma at Trogon House offers guests a magical and private barbecue experience, and is accessed through a newly-built ramp that connects the two lodges.
