Wayo Little Green Camp

Overview of Wayo Little Green Camp

Tanzania, Serengeti

Wayo Little Green is a mobile camp that seasonally migrates across Serengeti National Park. It begins in the southern stretches during the rainy season, offering a visual spectacle as dark rain clouds gather across the expanse of the reserve. When the dry season approaches, the camp travels to the eastern heartlands for closer wildlife sightings. The northern reaches will see you embarking on walking safaris in the warmer weather to nearby water sources where animals congregate.

Full or half-day walks are available, tailored to your preference. Whether you're traversing rocky kopjes where wild cats can be seen sunbathing, meandering along drainage lines where elephants come to drink and cool down, or exploring the depths of acacia woodlands, you'll encounter impalas seeking shady spots under the trees. You can also book an exhilarating game drive to explore more popular regions of the park that may be too far to reach on foot.

This camp is ideal for the intrepid safari explorer, especially families travelling with older children. As an eco-friendly camp, minimising environmental impact is a priority, with water filtration systems and solar energy designed to reduce its footprint. When the camp moves with the seasons, no trace of the previous camp remains.

Stay in authentic eco-friendly private safari camps in beautiful remote locations in Tanzania. Walking safaris in Tanzania are completely different to game drives. On foot you are a participant in the world of wildlife rather than a spectator, which is a thrilling safari experience.
