Overview of Zulu Camp

Located on Shambala Game Reseve, the award-winning Zulu Camp is a safari destination characterised by opulent luxury, Big 5 game viewing, and unique African safari experiences.

Being on the water Zulu Camp is a great spot for bird-watching and provides a tranquil place to absorb the sounds of the bush as the sun rises or sets on the savannah. With only eight suites, guests can expect exclusivity, luxury and warm service.

The reserve is home to the Big 5 as well as spotted hyena, hippo, Cape mountain zebra, and endangered species such as black rhino, sable antelope and black impala. In addition to game drives, guests are treated to bush picnics, star gazing and sundowner cruises on the dam. A range of exciting extras include fishing in the largest man-made dam in Africa, traversing the landscape by mountain bike or ATV, and the rare opportunity of experiencing the Big 5 on guided walking safari.
