Our Safari Expert Academy
New recruits will be employed as Africa Safari Experts and afforded the opportunity to participate in Go2Africa’s structured training programme, known as the Safari Expert Academy.
The Safari Expert Academy, which has been successfully operating for over a decade, will provide 3-months of structured training. The training will equip the new hires with industry-leading sales, marketing and product knowledge, as well as including local travel and site inspections. Once the training is completed, the new hires will hit the sales floor and begin to fulfil the function of an Africa Safari Expert.
Recruitment is open to graduates, candidates with general working experience and junior travel consultants.
Employment commences in February 2020, in Cape Town. The deadline for application is 31 August 2019.
Role Summary:

Our Africa Safari Experts will create and sell tailor-made itineraries to international travellers. The successful candidate will sell locations based in Southern Africa, and thereafter East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. New enquiries are provided by Go2Africa’s website and the successful candidate is responsible for generating repeat and referral enquiries through exceptional customer relationship management.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent (essential)
- Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
Experience
- Sales experience (advantageous)
- Travel consultant experience (advantageous)

- Africa / South Africa travel industry (advantageous)
