Role summary

Go2Africa is looking for an Africa Air Expert to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for actioning quotation and ticketing requirements for our Sales Department. This role requires a focus on sales performance and high-quality service delivery to the Go2Africa’s Sales Department and clientele.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Sales and service delivery
  • Increase team profitability
  • Achievement of individual and ASE team contract



  • Diploma or Degree in Travel and Tourism (essential)
  • Amadeus (essential)


  • Minimum two years’ experience selling air travel (essential)
  • Email sales and / or face-to-face sales to the general public (advantageous)
  • International or African travel experience (advantageous)

Knowledge of

  • Advanced airline product knowledge
  • Scheduled airlines (domestic, regional, worldwide)
  • Charter airlines (domestic, regional, worldwide)
  • Consolidators
  • Booking conditions/classes
  • Airport codes
  • Alliances and code shares
  • Schedule changes
  • Cancellations and / or refunds
  • Re-issues
  • IATA and ATOL
  • Customer and prospect relationship management
