Go2Africa is hiring on behalf of JourneyPlanner – a company that forms part of the Nawiri Group.

As Content Production Administrator, you ensure the availability of high-quality product content, which is aligned to meeting the needs of platform users, in a dynamic and time sensitive environment. Travel rates and contracting details make up the majority of the content you will be working with.

 

You will be working within a team of like-minded individuals – committed to supporting our business partners and their efforts to achieve success in the sales and decision-making endeavours.

 

Your understanding of how individual and collective efforts contribute to achieving outcomes and your ability to proactively engage and collaborate with business partners, product content providers and platform users, will be vital skill-sets to enabling that the Content Operations Team achieve its objective of delivering the right content, at the right time.

Candidate requirements

Experience

Essential

  • 1-2 years Rates Management experience within the Travel & Tourism Industry.
  • Product costing experience.
  • Ability to understand apply product contractual agreements.
  • 6-12 Months experience in an administrative role.
  • 1 Year experience in a sales support or customer service environment

Functional responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing of supplier product information (fact sheets, images, rates, specials…) to meet the current and future information requirement needs of our system users.
  • The timeous, accurate capture and maintenance of up-to-date supplier and product related information onto our content production systems.
  • Keeping abreast of changes to our product supplier’s service offerings and/or key developments within the tourism industry and timeously applying the relevant changes to our system.
  • Review of adjustment and changes made within the Product & Rates provisions received from suppliers and ensuring the timeous accurate reflection of such changes on our systems for content adjustments and, ensuring that our systems reflect such changes.
  • Speedy resolution of User Queries.
  • Effective management and accurate completion of all tasks relating to production workflow.
  • Set-up and maintenance of APIs, where available, to ensure ongoing access to live-time rates and availability info for products.
